My Saviour My Horse

My Saviour, My Horse

My life was filled with terror and pain

With you by my side I could breathe again

My secrets and shame you carried inside

And your eyes showed sympathy when I cried

The feel of...

My Story Told

My Story Told

The horror of my past is strong

Terror rules me

Shame’s my shadow

Pain’s always there

Memories hold me in prison

Behind thick walls

Where sorrow weeps

Deep in my soul

Each day is a constant struggle

Hurt fills my mind

Darkness...

My Daughter My Tribute

a poem about my beautiful daughter

My Daughter, My Tribute

I watch over her

          when she sleeps

I watch over her

          when she weeps

I watch over her

          through life’s ups and downs

I watch over her

          as she leaps and bounds

I watch over...

Innocence Lost

Innocence Lost

Moonless night, darkness cold

In this story told

Marauder in black, evil reaches out

Of his intentions there’s no doubt

And innocence sleeps below

Cruelty rules, suffering seeps

And quiet the child keeps

Love destroyed, trust forever torn

And desolation is...

My Scars Revealed

My Scars Revealed

The razor blade bites deep

spelling out my anguish

life affirming blood bleeds

These words etched upon my skin

DEAD, HATE, BLAME, PAIN, LOST

Hatred all consuming

Pain is the air I breathe

Blame fills my heart

Death reaches for...

My Shadow

You are never alone. You have your shadow, your personality or personalities or the love of someone, and to know there's always someone out there just like you somewhere far away. There's also different planes of realities as...

From out the darkness within my shadow, the distant evil that carries me tomorrow. Myself and I as a pair of wings as friendship rings. Two together forever as it seems whom I trust...

Crown of Thorns

I still remember coming to Vancouver, British Columbia for the first time and seeing BC Place Stadium. It lit up the whole skyline with it's reconstructed roof and flashing colors on a dark landscape....

You were the peak in the skyline

I saw that night among the birds

Floating on the water with careless abandon

Your neon lights and Mohawk hair

A vibrant dot in a sea of painted glass

Your spots resonated...

The Catastrophe

Overcoming heartbreak.

The catstrophe of her anatomy

Is the man who no longer loved it.

The man who no longer loved me,

Stood high and mighty with a smile that spoke

he only wanted midnights,

no sunsets

his taste

consisted of bad boy...
