Remember Me
Wednesday morning Time to get up, time to get ready.Have wash, clean teeth. Then must walk Freddie. No bike ride today. A lift I'll be given.Though must exercise slightlyI don't want to stiffen.Tap tap on the keyboardThe same information.Must not make mistakesnot lose concentration.I speed up when I needI rest when I please. I lose count of how many I drinkcups of tea.No stress, no worries. This is all new to me. To submit my time sheet is my only worry!Just hope it lasts as long as I need. My family I protect. My family I feed.©Ben Devlin 2016

The poem is on Doctors who were heroes to us in the time of Covid-19
How we observe and how we reflect.
The observations and reflections of a traveller in a foreign land.
The facades of a perfect home.
This peom is about a woman in my life, who is suppose to be there for me but is not.
