time and love and I

Time and love and I We took a walk last night We talked of things I wished I knew And love said “time will show you soon.” All that could be I wanted to see And time said “love will set you free.” I wanted to have both love and time But time just never crossed my mind. So then time came to make a choice Can I have both? I heard my voice. Time is precious, love’s so rare How to choose, how to compare? If time and love were both all mine A better pair I’d never find.
