A friend and fellow creative dared me to write a poem encouraging people especially youths who are in difficult circumstances and this is what I produced.
Life's now tough,
And the road you tread - rough.
Continue walking down the lane.
Because, there's always light at the end of the tunnel.
You're now in the valley,
And the hill you seek looks elusive.
With movement you can still reach the peak.
The pit you're in seems lonely,
You're never alone - not even in it,
Your friends and family are there with you.
Because, there's always light at the end of the tunnel
The sky looks bald tonight,
Your star would surely twinkle;
Even the moon would only gleam beside it.
Don't give up!
Keep going! Keep moving!
Keep loving and keep hoping!
