The Secret Held Within The Dark

The emptiness grew within her It caused withering of the light It had begun to consume her Where it once shone with all its might

 

Flailing in the embrace of darkness Where the fire once blazed The piercing grip made her helpless Not even a sliver of light gazed   Lost inside her own creation Nothing...no sound...just rayless No words to describe her devastation It was the secret held within her darkness
