Shattered

Shattered

Into my life your darkness came,

erasing my happiness - bringing shame.

Everywhere I looked, you were there,

watching with your lustful stare.

No matter where I tried to hide,

you always made our worlds collide.

I lived in terror every day,

as I knew you'd never stay away.

Your hands on my body were so unjust,

as you were consumed by your lust.

You destroyed the only life I'd known,

my hatred for you has only grown.

You gave me nothing but hurt and pain,

ripped out my soul with such disdain.

The horrible things you've done to me,

shattered what my future should be.
