Ocean Lullaby

~~I choose to write a lullaby
And play it with my guitar.
A song so true for all of you.
I hope it will take me far.

Over the ocean and to the other land,
I’ll sing and play a song that is grand
Of ships and sailors sailing the ocean blue.
I have a plan; this is what I’ll do.

The wind is blowing.  Another storm is at sea.
The sails are flapping ever so free.
Birds are on the horizon, land must be near.
I wish the clouds would stop shedding all these tears.

Then the clouds begin to break.
The sun begins to shine.
The anchor has been laid down low.
Everything is fine.
