not forgotten nor forsaken

...not forgotten nor forsaken:

We are too quick,
in fact, too quick,
to see the worth
of the other person.

Then we mourn and lament
"God does not Love me."
and ask the question:
"Why am I not
like the other person?"

Because, we are too quick,
to forget that,
"We are the exact
image and likeness
of God"

God has never
forgotten nor forsaken you.
So why? why?
why have you
forgotten and forsaken yourself?

There is so much worth
in you,
for God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit
reside in you.

So look beyond the other person,
and look within you,
today, to see your own worth,
for God has not forgotten nor forsaken you.

not forgotten nor forsaken
