Napping Nana
She does it in the afternoon
She does it at night
She naps
My Nana
She naps all the time
The only glow in the room is that of the television set
Sometimes it’s Maury, most of the time, its Law and Order
How entertaining can a show be about little kids getting raped?
She’s a sick old lady, I guess.
Mom will kick her foot sometimes to make sure Nana is still alive
‘’Why’d you kick me?’’ She’ll grumble, before going back to sleep.
Dad wakes her up for dinner.
She eats. Goes back to sleep.
She lives in the kitchen when she isn’t napping
Our cats sleep and eat all the time
They shit all the time too
Oh, I almost forgot, Nana’s always in the bathroom too
Our cats and Nana are pretty much the same
