My Only Home

My only home. Resting upon an open hill. Where no man could even hear What happened as time stood still.   My only home. Where boys and girls alike could roam. And no one would feel the pain I had stuck standing all alone.   My only home. The only place that could understand What happened as my tears appeared And I could only see what lied in my hand.   My only home. I wish I could see again. But seemed to have burned to ash And left me alone is some-sort of den.   My only home. To which will never be known again.
