“My Brothers”

Carry me home if I fall in battle

Cover me with the flag that I love

Carry me home with my fallen brothers

Who fought by my side through it all

Don’t grieve for me I’m not lost or forgotten

I’m goin home to the ones that I love

Respect me by respecting all others

Who fought by my side through it all

I never thought of being a hero

I only fought for what I believe

I never asked for anything more

Than to stand with my brothers in war

Please tell my family that I fought proudly

Tell them that I stood my ground

And tell them I’m watching over my brothers

Who fought by my side through it all
