Light Switch

Light Switch

My brain is like a light switch

It can quickly go from light to dark

Sometimes I don't know what I am thinking

Sometimes my brain goes on a lark

Don't know where these thoughts come from

They must be buried deep inside of me

Every now and then they poke through

Come out in shards of pain and misery

I can feel the bugs chewing the wires

They are trying to chew their way through

I dare not say a word to anyone

Or they will think of me like you
