~~Home is where I am

where I became who I am. Ikhaya Lika Tata apho inkaba
yam nday'tyala khona. Ndavula amehlo ndaqala ubona
 ubomi buyindlela engapheliyo,ndibene themba ba
 oluthando lolunga pheliyo.

Home is where I am right now

Where I grew and learned where I was groomed to be the
man I am today with guidance of my father and grandfather rivers and valleys taught me what they knew cause le khaya lam so they didn’t leave me to suffer
I run through the grazed and ungrazed fields
 Grass knocking at my knees
 Whistling winds.

Where my heart is
 Where my firsts where
 Where I planted myself

So my bark shall be strong

Still I stand on the ground my ancestors walked, still I speak the same language my ancestors spoke. Where the crops we sow become food for the family and feed
generations to come. home is where I am

and

I’m glad to be
