Glass

Glass eyes hiding a lifelong pain secrets of love and hurt buried behind a pane of glass an illusion to the world a one way mirror to no where cracked and broken two eyes leading to the soul a false promise of tomorrow Glass eyes motionless sorrow two beacons of light twinkle through the tears they shine beyond the stars and dance in the night Glass eyes deception to the world the window to my story my story of nothing an empty space full of broken glass
