A loss, a heartbreak A loss. Time heals, they would say Time’s up. Hold on, don’t lose grip Slipping. Pull back, back to life Pointless. Reason, find one quick Found it. First look, a giggle Heartbeat. Yellow, a car ride Happy. Marriage, she’s not ready Too soon. Sorry, she’s sorry Ruin. Painful, still hurting No more. Alone, move away Freedom. Aching, heart lonely Reaching. Finding, heart healing Holding. Blue eyes, tenderness Peaceful. Loving, just loving Complete.
