A man

Everything is collapsing, The walls are caving in. Truth has been told, Yet the listener is in disbelief. With so much pain and hurt, The man becomes numb, All the eyes around him watch As his days become bleak. With true colors shown, He has no feelings left. Frozen as ice, He becomes cold-hearted. Tragic effect, Spirals him down In an abyss. Darkness fills his soul, Light struggling to hold on. He’s pulled to an unfortunate event. Yet a silver lining appears, An abyss with a rope dangles down, As he grasps for his life, Life and hope comes back All before a sudden drop. Bam! His soul moved on, Yet body remains motionless. This simple horror, All from a continuous cycle, To end a life. Though may seem dead, His life remains on. The next journey begins Which path will he take? Easy or hard? Dark or light? Simple or luxurious? Balance always remains With a death comes a life The circle repeats.
