An American Icon discovered

For thirteen years I have been researching this very old, unique stuffed bear of mine. To discover it to be an original Teddy Roosevelt bear circa 1903. Hand made by Morris and Rose MIchtom of Brooklyn, New York. The Michtom's invented the teddy bear in honor of President Theodore Roosevelt. Made of the finest materials of the time. They made so few of his first style Tedy that they were lost in time. Until, now. I've learned that they created this original teddy bear to stand upright and to have this full open mouth that smile. In 1903, the local people of New York began a frenzy to acquire these new stuffed toy bears from the Michtom's novelty store. Why people had never seen anything like it before. They just had to have this new toy bear. As the demand grew for the Michtom's new stuffed bear. The Michtom's quickly realized that they had to down grade the features on the bears mouth right away. These features just took too long to produce. By 1905 teddy bears no longer stood upright. No one will never know how many of these original style teddy bears were ever made. History says the Michtom's never obtained patent's or copyright's of their early creations. In today's world this original teddy bear of mine is a legend. A legend that has been solved. From my years of research on this subject, I can say that I have not seen this bear style at all. Only on the cover of a 1907 book. Published in New York. And this book was featured in Playthings magazine in 1907 saying These are genuine teddy bears of the plush kind. For all ages. I can say that this old bear of mine is the rarest of all teddy bears. He belongs in the Smithsonian Institute. But this takes time, I know. The world will be amazed of how well made this original style teddy bear is and ofcorse how good looking he is for beeing the first. It is said in the toy business that originality gets the greatest attention. I am very proud to discover the makers of my old bear. Right hear in dublin, California. I have learned that the experts in the subject simply don't know what this original teddy bear of the Michtom's should have looked like. He is the most rarest teddy bear of all time. It has taken me many years of research to solve this mystery and I have.
