Photograph series, ‘Women of Anatolia’, aims at recording modes of existence, cultures, lifestyles and inter-communication of the women living in Anatolia in a way beyond those known and narrated.

Even if the women living in Anatolia remain behind their covers and their identities become indistinct, they still have courage and strength to reveal their own preferences. One of the fundamental bases of this strength is probably the manner of solidarity learned from the nature by those women who lead a life in peace with the nature. Women living in Anatolia respect each other’s modes of existence, beliefs, clothing preferences and rights. Thanks to this solidarity, the women become happy and peaceful, going beyond the prejudices and getting what they want. Even if they sometimes work under harsh circumstances, realizing themselves extends their life lines. Under the light of all those, it is natural to think Women of Anatolia as inspirational.
