Dignity

What do you see behind those eyes?
A world of truth, a world of lies?

What drew you to this very place?
To catch a breath, to see a face?

Does the world look strange to you
From the world that you once knew?

Young at heart but old of heart
CTRL,ALT,DELETE, would you restart?

Would you rather look behind, instead of what's in front
Memories dressed in black you never should confront

Any regrets about what you did
Or is that best left behind

Your priority is dignity
Each day as if your last
All tenses tell your story
The future, present,past
