She wastes her time cutting
But doesn't she know
If she cuts too deep
It will show
She wastes her time planning
Ways to escape
But doesn't she know
It shows in her face
She wastes her time acting
As if nothing is wrong
But doesn't she know
They knew all along
She wastes her time scarring
Letting him go
But doesn't she know
It will show
She wastes her time running
Away from this place
But doesn't she know
It shows in her face
She wastes her time playing
As if nothing is wrong
But doesn't she know
They knew all along
