Controlled

~CONTROLLED
Our lives are controlled by greedy men
In Ivory towers who care not when
The poor get hungry and try to survive
They're not even aware that you are alive
They're hand in hand with the elected few
Who don't do what they're supposed to do
To look after the masses that rely on them
We've heard this saga again and again
The only thing that is on their mind
Is profits and shares of any kind
With higher taxes and the "living wage"
We are just like their pets inside their cage
It's an endless cycle of hunger and pain
And all for the rich and their net gain
How can it be that the chosen few
Have so much control over you?
What can be done to break this chain
Is it time for a revolution again?!!
