SHORELINE MEMORIES

SHORELINE MEMORIES

Shingle’s whispered sounds on a cloud cloaked day.

Primodial splinters cracked by cascading sea spray.

Twilight harvest moon hears the swirling operatic song.

Rhythmic waves come ever closer fighting to belong.

The bright white sunlight carving those rainbows in the sand.

Iridescent pools of silver sculptured by Trident’s hand.

Billion years of textured prehistorc scars in myriad spaces.

Old countless memories lie etched on hard granite faces.

Forever lost in Time’s forgotten past and unknown cries.

Embedded in Earth’s history under many different skies.

Left for a child this future born with hand of flesh and bone.

Touch, caress the cold moist surface of this ancient stone.

And feel Nature’s strong presence cast itís shadow down.

To whirlwind ocean depths from volcanic anger’s frown.

Meteoric chemical reactions, world turns around the sun.

Universal motion create the stars which space has won.

So when the endless time of blackness and eternity arrives.

The Universe remembers hard hope like granite survives.
