The Boy and His Guitar

~~A long, long time ago
In a land so far away,
A boy and his guitar
Sat down and began to play.

He sang words for you.
He sang words for me.
His back was good and strong
Nestled by the old oak tree.

But my what a time
He had underneath the sun.
He broke down and cried
When he was finally done.

He beat his chest and cried a prayer
For the people of today.
A hope that stands true
For each and every way.
