O Lion King

~~O wondrous face of beauty.
So tame and yet so wild.
Much wisdom carries you
Upon the land which you dwell.

How beautiful you stand!
In awe I am of you.
Much respect I give,
Much deserving of love too.

When you walk, people shake!
They run away in fear.
But I will stand “bold” before you.
My love for you is here.

O King of the entire herd!
Your wisdom has no end.
Your mane freely flows.
The people, they do mend.

Mending thread, yarn and wool,
A picture for them to see.
A lion standing strong,
A lion standing free.
