Remember Me
Scent of death
Morning glory you've departedDear night you've lost your shineWind why blow without a whistleWhy is death a new scent of roses?
Before me lies broken piecesOf dreams and hopes shatteredThe heart is consumed by painSorrow is my new blanket
Oh time why did you not alertHorizon you held back the signsI would have cherished her moreLoved and held her high
I am a man without willA dead rose on a broken stemMy sorrows I've poured on your scarfUntil I lost the only scent left
Death a great offence you've doneMy heart you split in halfMy dreams you stole and brokeA stink is now left in my heart

The poem is on Doctors who were heroes to us in the time of Covid-19
How we observe and how we reflect.
The observations and reflections of a traveller in a foreign land.
The facades of a perfect home.
This peom is about a woman in my life, who is suppose to be there for me but is not.
