Ravens

They watch the shadows by day

Crowding trees and city streets

Stalking and preying

An organized session choreographed

A haunted flock they slowly emerge

To eat souls and ask for penance

Only to dot the streets collectively

Hoarding in winter's dim light

The beggars of our streets

A coarse of ravens they slowly dissolve.
