Remember Me
Do you remember that day we climbed
The fuzzy mountain sprung and gay
Upon which the fog rose so near
Never to eclipse the dirt we tread
Out cast the ocean of cloud
Simple and elegant the storms they crowned
Never to behold the sea they had
When the fork lies nearly on the hill
Just across the sea
In red and white it perched so high
So the only symbol the bay stood nigh
But when the fog dissolved
The blue essence of beauty
Glassed in golden the grasses crawl
For on this mountain many moons
To here the animals grow and gloom
As on this trail we tread to fall
Only to me the city stood tall.

The poem is on Doctors who were heroes to us in the time of Covid-19
How we observe and how we reflect.
The observations and reflections of a traveller in a foreign land.
The facades of a perfect home.
This peom is about a woman in my life, who is suppose to be there for me but is not.
