The Rain

The rain falls all over us and it touches our heads and it brushes our hair with souls from the sky. It shines on us bringing thunder and light yet we are scared of its might and we crouch, because we are scared of the darkness that comes from the air. We remember the size of our nature. I wish we looked at our honest complexion and regarded the world as it is. It's a paradise that we try to kill like we kill our own dreams. The rain, it washes off all the pain from the heat and the fire of our space. It nurtures and brings life with it. Yet we are scared of it's might and we cry, because it reminds us of death and of fear from the unknown. We remember the truth about us. That we are part of a pale blue dot. I wish we could see the world as it is. It's a paradise that we try to miss like we miss our everyday miracles. The rain falls and there it goes. A new beginning is set every time. Let it fall over you Let it shower your pain Let it fall, let it rain. 19/05/2020
