The Difference

You should have stayed... You should have waited... To see how I transformed, To embrace the changed me. You should have stayed, To know the real me; To feel my heart; Just to know how much I cared. You should have stayed, To look inside me; To reciprocate my feelings, You should have stayed! But you chose not to; You went along with the flow, And never stopped by, or even turned back. You were long gone... -the old you! Never to come back! I waited and waited... Knowing that you would never return But, I still waited! And that's what makes us DIFFERENT! You left, But I stayed and waited... ALWAYS!! - Mansi
