The Cycle

Together we walk through a single dark tunnel Making sure to not touch the walls The light in the end must be everything but rumor So we continue to walk with no light so far Before the tunnel, there was a blue sky But Fog amidst the clouds always hid the stars Those glowing lights could all be just rumor Or maybe true, but they were just too far So we continue to walk and follow the pact Get to their light, and let your time pass Believe what you’re told, and follow this path Or pull out your ladder, and never look back
