WITHOUT REMORSE

Calmly standing to his feet in the tense, tightly crammed courtroom A young man awaits to be sentenced for a most heinous crime Staring straight on ahead, with little sign of emotion upon his face He is well aware that he is about to be locked up for a very long time His victims family angrily stare over at him from the public gallery Longing to see justice served, and to cheer as he finally gets sent down They have suffered greatly, since the day that their lives were torn apart Since the day that this most despicable crime became the talk of the town The jury have reached their verdict, and have unanimously found him guilty Now the judge must decide his fate, and the sentence that must be served As he is sentenced to life in prison, the court erupts into loud cheers of relief Having shown no signs of remorse, he has got no more than what he deserved
