This photograph (digitally edited) was the basis of the cover for my novel Breakers of the Dawn. It started off as a image of a street light on a rainy night. I was trying to portray a subtle supernova.

Soil Got No Enemy

The idea behind this photo is to convey that home is meant to be one of our sources of peace, a safe ground clothed in golden lit leaves that overshadow any darkness and conflicts that exist.
