Ax in a Tree Stump
I just remembered years ago when I was walking in the woods and the ax in tree stump came to mind. I tried to capture the true essence of it with all the basic colors.

Single Rose Unbloomed
This is a single violet red rose in the rain. I gave it some of nature's texture with the clouds and water droplets clinging to the petals and stem.
I prefer colored pencils to marker although I will use crayons...
